Oh

And the "Printed" in the last post refers to me printing off the temporary pass they give you while they make you your real one.

Bought and Printed

So I've decided, as a way of trying to get myself to write more, to try and write some movie reviews. I've written them in the past, and always planned on writing more, but it never lasted.

So last night I bought myself a Cineworld Unlimited Card which will get me into an unlimited amount of movies at any Cineworld cinema in the UK (excluding London West End ones, although for an additional few pounds you can get a card which does cover these). It's highly likely that I'll not use it any cinema barring my local, Dundee, but I might go visit someone up in Edinburgh or Glasgow and it's nice to know I can use it there if I want.

So the plan is to make myself review every film I go see using the card, which to make it worth my money needs to be at least three a month. It would have been two but I become a student on Saturday so the student discount brings down the price a fair bit.

Sadly, apparently 3D movies aren't included in the deal, and you need to pay the couple of pounds extra to go see them, but I suppose it's a couple of pounds I'd be spending anyway. And I know so many people think 3D is just a big scam to get us to spend more money and stop illegally downloading, but I think although it's hardly going to revolutionise cinema (possibly barring animated movies) it still has the ability to make a fairly awful film a lot more interesting, and in the case of The Final Destination 3D, a lot more funny.

So here goes, I move out on Saturday and living in town means it's only a short bus journey to the cinema, so hopefully some time in Fresher's Week before the lectures start (the 14th), I'll have something to review!
